Enrollment to the first museum School of Young Guides has been announced in Uzhgorod

We invite schoolchildren aged 10 to 15 years old, who would like to learn about the museum and the profession of museum worker, as well as try ourselves in a new exciting role as a museum guide, to participate in the School of Young Guides.

Classes at the museum’s School of Young Guides will be held weekly. In general, 8 classes on the most interesting museum exhibits will be conducted. Using the received knowledge, each child will be able to prepare their own tour of the museum, to add to it their own vision and an interesting idea, that is, each child’s excursion will be a creative project.

Classes will begin in early April, and on the 30th, 31st of May and the 1st of June, the students of the School will conduct their own tours of the museum for the first time.

To become a student of the museum School of Guides, you only need to register here. Applications are accepted until March 31.

Recall that the School of Young Guides will operate within the framework of the project "Children’s Days in Uzhgorod Skansen". The project will be implemented with the support of the Culture Bridges program funded by the European Union and being implemented by the British Council in Ukraine in partnership with EUNIC – the EU National Institutes of Culture Network.
