Clay candidates: Uzhgorod schoolboy made the candidates for presidential office (PHOTOS)

An Uzhgorod schoolboy made clay models of Ukrainian politicians who are participating in the 2019 presidential race. He says he chose the most popular ones and those he saw on billboards. There is a lot of advertising on the way to the school, and even children notice it, the zaholovok writes

Adrian Breza became interested in clay modeling last year, he watched videos with master classes, created figures from cartoons and favorite video game characters.

"Then my mother suggested the idea to make clay presidential candidates, – the boy says. – I knew about this year’s election and saw many of the politicians on billboards: Lyashko, Poroshenko, who is now the President, Tymoshenko, Zelensky, Sadovy."

The figures are made according to a special method: clay basis with shirts and costumes made of thinly rolled clay of different colors. A copper wire holds the figure together.     

Each figure took up to two days to make, the boy was working after classes. He says it took a lot of clay, because the standard sets did not have enough of the necessary colors.

"Do you follow the elections?", we asked Adrian. "I do not follow the elections, but I’m interested to see who will become the president of Ukraine. I think that the president can do a lot, because as they say on billboards: the president is a servant of the people."
