On March 6, on the occasion of the International Women’s Day, the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic invites to the concert "Melodies of Love". The initiator of this holiday was the Society of Armenian Culture of Transcarpathia "Ararat" (chairman – Karen Enokyan). And it will be created by the symphony orchestra of the Philharmonic. The conductor is Victoria Svalyavchik-Tsanko, Honored Artist of Ukraine.
The program includes overtures to J. Strauss’ operetta "Die Fledermaus" and G. Bizet’s "Carmen", "Spanish Dance" and "Hutsul Triptych" by M. Skoryk, "Salute to Love" by E. Elgar, music for the film "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg" by M.Legrand, works by well-known Armenian composers A. Khachaturian and Komitas. Accompanied by the orchestra, Artem Kalinich (drums) will perform the Concert for Drum Kit by L. Nik, Serhiy Radchenko (trumpet) will play melodies from the repertoire of Joe Dassin. The soloist of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic, Honored Artist of Ukraine Oleksandr Sadvariy (tenor) will perform "Nocturne" by A. Babadzhanyan and "Eternal Love" by C. Aznavour. The host of the concert will be Natalia Pitsur.
