Today is the last day when you can register cars with foreign license plates. Transcarpathian customs offices are working intensely

Specialists of Transcarpathian Customs remind that this week, February 22, the grace period for the application of the excise tax rate for customs clearance of cars with foreign registration expires. As this day is approaching, the number of citizens who want to have their cars cleared is significantly increasing, therefore the working hours at some customs checkpoints have been extended.

Customs post "Uzhgorod-central".

Customs post "Mukachevo".

Customs post "Khust".

The extended working hours will be in place at these posts during February 21 and 22.

Additionally, from 8:00 to 20:00, citizens have the opportunity to have the customs clearance of their vehicles carried out at the following customs posts:

Customs post "Railway".

Note that the grace period for the application of the excise tax rate (coefficient 0.5) for customs clearance of cars with foreign registration expires on February 22, 2019 at 24:00. After that, owners of such cars will have to pay the full rate of excise tax.
