Robert Horvat personally met with Egyptian parliamentarians on the extradition of Eduard Chikosh (PHOTOS)

"We continue the struggle for the liberation of Eduard Chikosh," – Robert Horvat, a member of the parliament, wrote on this page.

"These days, for the first time in Ukraine’s independence, the delegation of the "Egypt-Ukraine" Friendship Group of the House of Representatives of the Arab Republic of Egypt visited Kyiv. He personally met with Egyptian parliamentarians and raised the issue of the extradition of Uzhgorod resident Eduard Chikosh to Ukraine.

I am glad that we have been able to find a common ground with our Egyptian colleagues. Currently, we agreed on the improvement of the conditions that Eduard is being kept in. In the future, the Egyptian parliamentarians assured, they will raise the issue of Eduard’s extradition at the highest state level at home.

I am sure that the agreements reached in Kyiv will be a powerful impetus for the release of Eduard from captivity. In any case, we are not going to stop until this issue is positevely resolved," – the People’s Deputy said.

Recall that Eduard Chikosh is an Uzhgorod resident, who has been in jail in Egypt for seven years.
