The Movement to support Transcarpathian soldiers invited the residents of the region to support the Ukrainian sailors and our army in general at the charity fair.
During the weekend, Uzhgorod residents and city guests responded to the call of volunteers not to panic in social networks, but to come together, – the "Den" informs.
In spite of the frost, members of the Movement to support Transcarpathian soldiers organized a charity fair in the city. They are selling everything from hot drinks to books, toys and clothes. Most of the goods were brought by volunteers from abroad. As always, all the money earned will be spent for the needs of the military.
In addition to the fair, volunteers invite people to come and have their photographs taken near the flag of Ukrainian Navy and share photos in social networks.
"We wanted to dedicate our fair to the Day of the Volunteer, but there is nothing special to celebrate, and now the incident in the Kerch Strait too. Of course, hundreds of people in the westernmost region of Ukraine support our captive sailors, worry about them. So we had the idea to make a small photo zone with the naval flag of Ukraine at the pre-holiday fair. We wanted to buy it online and found some in Mykolayiv and Mariupol, but would not have had time to get them to Uzhgorod. The second option was to sew one, but it also proved to be difficult. However, we always find a way out, and our volunteer Tanya Hymon immediately started working. Overnight, the flag was painted on paper.
Today, we will launch another campaign. It will be a motivational flash mob. Its main goal is to reassure people who are alarmed by recent the events in Ukraine. It is only by our own example that we can help people come to their senses", – Galina Yartseva, the coordinator of the Movement to support of Transcarpathian soldiers said.
