Three migrants from Africa were caught near the border with Hungary

The offenders, who tried to get into Hungary illegally, were detained last night by the border guards of the "Kosyno" division of the Mukachevo detachment together with the employees of the National Police.

When checking the information provided by the border guards, on the outskirts of the village of Kosyno, law enforcement officers detained three Africans without documents. Two of the detainees said that they were citizens of the Sudan, and the third one was a Somali citizen.  During the filtration measures, the border guards found out that the detained foreigners, aged 23, 18 and 16, had come to the territory of Ukraine legally, but planned to cross the Ukrainian-Hungarian border illegally in order to stay in one of the countries of the European Union.

Currently, the foreigners were taken to the temporary detention facility of the Mukachevo border guard detachment. Reports on administrative offense were drawn up against them, as provided in Part 1 of Art. 204-1 of the CAO. The case will be referred to the court, – the press service of the Mukachevo border guard detachment informed.
