Vasyl Bobita will present his personal exhibition in the Skansen

In the halls of the Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life, the artist will present his personal exhibition entitled "The Colors of the City", which will open on October 16, 2018 at 16.00.

This exhibition is the result of travels, plein airs and creative work outside of his native land. The love of traveling across Europe inspired the artist to create cityscapes. The author has created a series of works of art in his original technique and a rather peculiar style, and those works will be exhibited in Uzhgorod. About 60 works will be exhibited in the halls of the museum, most of them were made during 2018.

The artist was born on December 18, 1962 in the city of Irshava. From 1978 to 1982, he studied at the Uzhgorod School of Applied Arts. Since 1985, he has been a regular participant in regional, all-Ukrainian and international exhibitions. From 2014 to 2018, he had more than 10 personal exhibitions in Ukraine, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The current exhibition is the fourth large exhibition in Transcarpathia (one in Mukachevo, three in Uzhgorod).
