Streets named after Ivan Mazepa, Simon Petliura and Stepan Bandera may appear in Uzhgorod

During two months, a public discussion on the naming of new city streets will be held in Uzhgorod.

As a result, streets named after Ivan Mazepa, Simon Petliura, Stepan Bandera and Mykhailo Tyvodar may appear in the city.

 It is proposed to name the new streets of the city after Ivan Mazepa, Simon Petliura, Stepan Bandera and Mykhailo Tyvodar, and to rename Leonid Govorov street to Ivan Firtsak street and part of the Rotary park on Druzhby Narodiv square into the Heroes of Chernobyl park.

The public discussion will be held from August 21, 2018 to October 21, 2018.

Proposals (comments) regarding the names of the streets of the city shall be submitted in writing or orally to the Department of Urban Development and Architecture: Nebesna Sotnya st., 4, II floor; tel.: 61-71-03; indicating the full name and the address of the person submitting by 10.10.2018.
