How Nezalezhnist embankment in Uzhgorod will look like after repair (PHOTOS)

The money, which is UAH 21.2 million, was allocated from the state budget, another UAH 636 thousand is co-financing from the city budget.

Recall that the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman promised promised to assist in the repair of the embankment during the visit to Uzhgorod. Then the mayor Bohdan Andriyiv said that it was planned to carry out the reconstruction of the embankment; the design was ready, but there was no money to implement it.

Repair work will begin soon. The design provides, in particular, for the arrangement of granite pavement, the main road will be covered with asphalt concrete mixture (with a bicycle paths and three bike parking places). Benches, garbage bins and street light fixtures will also be replaced.
