Will Uzhgorodians be drinking good water? – expecting the answer from the Ministry of Ecology

The issue of drinking water quality is often discussed, and its solution often depends on financing. Therefore, the result of the audit by the Accounting Chamber is suprising, Valeriy Patskan informs the voters. Over the past three years, the Ministry of Ecology has failed to implement more than 50% of environmental measures that would improve the quality of water. Those are the reconstruction and construction of sewage treatment plants, drainage system, hydraulic facilities, etc. The amount of unused funds is also striking – more than UAH 386 million. Meanwhile, measures to improve the quality of water are declared at all levels as a priority. However, there are problems with their implementation. So, when can we expect the changes? – the question remains rhetorical.
