Uzhgorod bus drivers: do not care about safety, smoke and insult

Failure to comply with work schedule, failure to undergo mandatory medical examination, parking outside the enterprises, blocking one of two doors in the buses, use of mobile phones while driving, smoking in the cabin, insulting passengers are typical violations by Uzhgorod drivers recorded during the extended inspections of transportation of passengers, children, goods, etc., which have been conducted since the second decade of July by the police, the State Transport Safety Service throughout the Ukraine on the instructions of the government.

This was discussed at today’s meeting with the participation of entrepreneurs, who carry out transportation in Uzhgorod by city buses, representatives of relevant units in the city executive committee, the press service of Uzhgorod city council informed.

In Transcarpathia alone, violations were detected in 124 of 748 checked buses.
