The community will be taught how to control the budget (Announcement)

On July 21 (Saturday), in Uzhgorod, there will be a training on "Practical tools for monitoring and participation of residents in the budget process". As stated on the event Facebook page,

The training will teach:

● Convenient and practical tools for monitoring the city budget

● Ukraine’s best practices for citizen participation in budgeting at the local level

● Best practices for publicity and accountability in the budget process

● Control over the use of public funds in procurement

● How to identify and counteract typical violations in public procurement

● Practically use ProZorro and DOZORRO tools

We invite:

– deputies of local councils and their assistants;

– active citizens;

– journalists and bloggers;

– members of political parties;

– heads of condominiums.
