The supply of chlorine for disinfection of drinking water in Uzhgorod depends on timely payments from the city residents – Vodokanal

Due to the shutdown of the plant "DniproAzot" – the only one in Ukraine that produces liquid chlorine, which is necessary for disinfection of water supplied to the water supply network, the administration of the communal enterprise "Vodokanal of Uzhgorod" commented on the situation in our city.

– Current stocks of chlorine should be sufficient until mid-August. Negotiations with alternative suppliers are in progress, but they insist on full pre-payment. The problem is aggravated by the fact that the residents of the city and Uzhgorod district as of the end of June owe to the water utility more than 32 million hryvnias.

Once again we emphasize: it is necessary to pay for the services in a timely manner, to pay according to the invoices!
