An extraordinary race took place in Transcarpathia. The competition "Three Castles" brought together children, experienced athletes, amateurs and veterans of the Russo-Ukrainian War.
The Transcarpathian Legion – 128th separate mountain assault brigade – reported about the event.
"Yesterday, our veterans once again proved their strength, invincibility and the will for victory on the 40-kilometer route of international cycling race "Three Castles of Transcarpathia" through the historic places of Transcarpathia – the Palanok Castle, the Schonborn Palace and the St.Miklos Castle.
The veterans’ team showed everyone that everything they had to go through on the front, recovery after injuries, constant self-improvement, overcoming obstacles is a manifestation of courage worthy of great respect and attention to all the soldiers coming back from the front with injuries.
We thank the organizers of the cycling race for veterans – the Public organization "Federation of cycling sports of Transcarpathian region", the National Council for Sports Rehabilitation of the Defenders of Ukraine and the Mayor of Mukachevo Andriy Baloha – for the warm reception of the veterans’ team.
