Uzhgorod petanque players won silver and bronze medals at the international tournament

Uzhgorod players won silver and bronze awards at the major international petanque tournament in Lviv

Traditional international petanque tournament "Leopolis-2018" took place in Lviv

Representatives of almost all petanque clubs of Ukraine, as well as athletes from Poland, Russia and Belarus took part in the tournament. 

In the main competition of duplet teams Oleksandra Shevchenko from Uzhgorod together with Mykola Dudyuk from Lviv won silver awards, and Petro Hoys from Uzhgorod together with Kyivan Dmytro Bugai won bronze medals in the "B" tournament.

Representatives of the Uzhgorod petanque club Igor Zaslavsky, Mario Prezutti and Oleksandra Shevchenko won second place in the main competition of the triplet teams, having lost in the final to the team of Kharkiv. Petro Hoys from Uzhgorod, together with teammates Darya Nakornyeyeva and Dmytro Bugai from Kyiv, beat the team from Poland in the match for the bronze medal.
