Record: more than 10 thousand tourists visited Mukachevo castle “Palanok” during the last weekend

From April 28 to May 1, the castle was visited by 10,524 tourists, which is the record attendance of the castle since the independence. Almost 4 thousand tourists visited the castle on Sunday.

The statistics are as follows: April 28 (Saturday) – 2,776 visitors (children – 774, adults – 1,684, preferential categories – 318); April 29 (Sunday) – 3,909 (children – 645, adults – 2,859, preferential categories – 405); April 30 (Monday) – 2,216 (children – 460, adults – 1,527, preferential categories – 229); May 1 (Tuesday) – 1,623 (children – 364, adults – 1,144, preferential categories – 115).

Free entrance to the "Palanok" was provided to young actors – participants of the All-Ukrainian children’s theatrical festival "Impresa over the Latorytsya" ​​(172 people), ATO participants, people with disabilities (groups 1 and 2), Chornobyl children, children from the ATO zone – the cities of Maryinka (20 people) and Mariupol (44 people).

In the near future, the Mukachevo Historical Museum invites to the celebration of the International Day of Museums, to visit the reenactment of the wedding of the castle ruler Ilona Zrinyi, to conquer the Mukachevo fortress on a bicycle during the bike marathon "Three Castles of Transcarpathia", and also to attend the mystical evening excursions with torches, open the door to new museum rooms.
