Residents of our city responded to yesterday’s post by Bohdan Andriyiv, who stated that Uzhgorod would continue to be the sakura capital of Transcarpathia. The mayor told in detail what trees, including sakuras, had been removed and how many new ones had been planted instead of those.
Uzhgorod resident Sasha Rabshun in the group "Uzhgorod" in response listed the central streets of the city, where no trees have yet been planted.
1. Svoboda Ave. near the traffic light at the intersection with Kapushanska street. Long lawn – no trees. Nobody removes sand, pebbles. And this is the central street with lots of tourists.
2. Svoboda Ave., where the new pavement was laid. And, along the way, two young sakuras were cut to make a space for cars. At the same time there is still a big sidewalk, where you can plant 10-15 trees. None has been planted. Only two city-lights.
3. B.Khmelnytsky Square. Several times enthusiasts have planted trees there – all of them were eventually destroyed. As a result, wild heat and no shadow where people walk constantly.
It is also necessary to plant trees or lawn with grass at the site near the Electron. There is a long sidewalk there. And the width of the sidewalk is sufficient…
