Traffic limiters will finally make the pedestrian zones of Uzhgorod safe

Today, employees of of the MU "KSHEP" installed on Nezalezhnist embankment in Uzhgorod additional traffic restraints in the form of hemispheres. According to the department of municipal economy, it was done in order to prevent cars from driving there, because drivers neglect traffic rules, ignore the prohibitive sign and have turned the pedestrian zone of the embankment into a roadway. 
The utility workers are setting the hemispheres in such a way that they do not interfere with strollers, cyclists, fire trucks. The old traffic limiters will soon be dismantled.
Such hemispheres have already been installed near the "Penguin" cafe, and they are also being installed near the building of the National Bank; then they will be installed along the embankment up to the medical faculty of UzhNU. They plan to install traffic limiters in other pedestrian zones, on sidewalks, etc.
