Taking into account the experience with past floods, rescuers of Khust district are taking measures to prevent them by clearing the supports of the bridge between the villages of Vyshkovo in Khust district and Bushtyno in Tyachiv districts. After all, the condition of the riverbed and bridge supports directly affects the passage of water during floods, so their condition should always be under control of the relevant services.
On March 27, rescuers of the 10th state fire and rescue unit of the city of Khust and divers of the special purpose emergency and rescue detachment in Transcarpathian region were clearing the bridge supports, because there was a lot of debris there carried by water.
14 rescuers and 2 units of equipment from the Office of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region participated in the clearing work.
