Jean Reno learned to speak Ukrainian and charmed with his kindness

Actor Jean Reno has come to the Carpathians, where he, as we reported, is shooting Ukrainian-French thriller "The Last Step."

Jean Reno settled in the largest hotel in Synevyrska Polyana, located the nearest to the lake.   The journalist of the Express learned new details of Jean Reno’s stay in the Carpathians. "The next day after checking-in, Jean Reno asked for the clock to be taken out of the room," – Kostyantin Pylyp, the hotel manager, says. "But he asked very courteously and apologized many times for this request. He explained that he was very tired, and the clock ticked loudly and did not let him sleep."  

Local people are struck by the actor’s kindness.    When Reno sees me, he waves his hand from afar. At first, he would say "hello" in English, and now he says "good day" in Ukrainian. Yes-yes! And he learned to say "thank you" in our language. He does very good. And I’m a little surprised that a star of this level talks to me so warmly. Honestly".   Interestingly, during the first five days in the Carpathians, the actor did not go outside the hotel and asked not to photograph him. But he promised that when he would be leaving, he would hold a special photo session for everyone and give everyone autographs.
