Yesterday, border guards of the Chop detachment together with the employees of the National Police arrested four illegal migrants. 

Two men and a woman with a young child were moving on the outskirts of the village of Huta in Perechyn district. A joint interagency group of border guards and policemen stopped the offenders near the border.

The "travelers" did not have any documents on them, but they told that they were citizens of Armenia. Subsequently, during the filtration measures, border guards found out that the detainees intended to illegally cross the Ukrainian-Slovak border with the help of a guide.

Now, the law enforcers have to identify the illegal migrants, after which they will be brought to administrative responsibility under Part 2 of Article 204-1 of the CAO "Illegal crossing or attempt to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine."

Later, near Uzhgorod, operational staff of the State Border Guard Service and the police, detained a possible organizer of the illegal transportation of the people across the border. A large amount of money in foreign currency, bank cards and other documents were found during the inspection of his place of residence. Further measures to establish all circumstances and identify the persons involved in the offense will be conducted by the operative and search unit of the Border Guard Service.
