In Transcarpathia, a woman almost killed her partner during a quarrel

During a quarrel, a 23-year-old woman injured her partner with a knife. Law enforcement officers initiated an investigation over the incident

Mizhhirya police received a report from the doctor of Mizhhirya district hospital about the hospitalization of a 31-year-old resident of the district center. The man had a penetrating knife wound in the neck.

Law enforcement officers found out that the penetrating wound had been inflicted by the man’s 23-year-old girlfriend. During a quarrel, the woman stabbed the victim with a knife to the neck.

The police opened a criminal proceeding over the incident under Part 1 of Art. 15 Part 1 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, that is, murder attempt.

As of now, the life and health of the victim is not in danger. The choice of pre-trial restraint against his partner – a 23-year-old resident of Mizhhirya – is being decided. The investigation continues, – the police reported.
