Border guards detained in a train a woman, who was hiding from control with jewelry and more than 20,000 euros (PHOTOS)

During the inspection of a train in Transcarpathia, border guards detained a woman who was hiding from control.

A standard inspection of the train "Chierna nad Tisou-Chop" by border guards at the checkpoint "Chop (Strazh)" had an unexpected result. During the inspection of a passenger car, border guards found a woman who was trying to avoid border and customs control at entering Ukraine. To do this, she locked herself up in the toilet of the car. The violator had no ID, but she said that she was a citizen of Ukraine. During the detention, the woman tried to escape from law enforcement officers, so they were forced to resort to physical measures.

 During a personal search, 21,435 EUR and a lot of jewelry was found on the woman. At present, customs officials are drawing up the report on the violation of customs rules. And the offender, upon completion of the necessary procedures, will be delivered to the temporary detention center of the Chop border guard detachment. After identification, she will be brought to administrative liability under Part 1 of Article 204-1 of the CAO "Violation or attempt to violate the state border of Ukraine."
