Mountain districts of Transcarpathia were affected by the powerful hurricane the most

The storm caused damage in a large part of Transcarpathia, but mountain distircts were affected the most.

The hardest blow landed on Mizhhirya and Rakhiv districts. Rescuers received dozens of reports about fallen trees. Strong winds also tore power lines and some villages were left without electricity. Because of heavy rain, several houses were slightly flooded, as well as some roads, which hampered the traffic.

Uzhgorod district was also affected by the evening severe storm, several trees fell there.

Currently, rescuers have eliminated all obstacles to traffic and cleared roads from trees.

Meteorologists warn that showers are also expected today, July 1.
