“Zakarpattyaoblenergo” demands the “Vodokanal of Uzhgorod” to pay the debts

Today, June 26, 2012, the management of the "Zakarpattyaoblenergo" PJSC appealed to the MU "Vodokanal of Uzhgorod" with the request to pay the debts for the electricity consumed (which as of 06.26.2017 is UAH 3.2 million) or, under current legislation, to reduce their consumption of electricity in accordance with the amount actually paid. The letter also stated that in case of failure to fulfil this demand by June 30, this year, the "Zakarpattyaoblenergo" PJSC will be forced to terminate power supply to the facilities of the MU "Vodokanal of Uzhgorod".

For information: the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine published the data on the average tariffs for centralized water supply and sanitation in Ukraine as of May 1, 2017.  

According to this table published on the website http://hyser.com.ua/community/209851-209851, the highest water tariff is set in Uzhgorod. So the question arises: why is it that the company, which has one of the highest tariffs in Ukraine, cannot pay for electricity!?   What do they spend the money on?
