Traffic of heavy vehicles in Transcarpathian region is restricted for the summer

On June 1, the seasonal restriction on traffic of heavy vehicles comes into force. This was reported by the Road Service in Transcarpathian region.

In order to preserve public roads in Transcarpathian region, starting June 1, at temperatures above +28 degrees Celsius, the restriction on traffic of heavy vehicles with the total weight over 24T and axle load over 7T from 10.00 22.00 shall be introduced on all public roads of Transcarpathian region.

Designated waiting lots are marked with relevant road signs. Also, there are information panels along the highways.

Within Transcarpathian region, there are 29 waiting lots for heavy vehicles for the period of temporary restriction of traffic, including gas stations.
