Volunteers, who have been actively supporting the Ukrainian army for several years, were honored in the Transcarpathian Regional Military Commissariat. This time, the award was prsented to Natalia Uhryn.
– I can’t overstate the amount of money raised by this brave woman just when it was most needed – the regional military commissar Colonel Bohdan Cheremisky said. – She was looking for money wherever she could – among friends, acquaintances and other caring people in Ukraine, as well as in Europe and the USA. And this assistance was worth millions of hryvnias. Yes, there was a time when the army needed support and I am thankful to the people who were the first to come to help and continue to support the army now.
The military commissar gave the volunteer a medal "For supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine." Moved by the warm reception, she thanked for having appreciated her efforts.
Natalia Uhryn has been engaged in volunteering since December 2014. At one time, she was a representative of the Logistic Staff of the Euromaidan and the community "Support the Army of Ukraine." In July 2016, for active participation in volunteer movement and timely assistance to units of Ukrainian army, in the Transcarpathian Regional Military Commissariat, she was awarded with the Order "For the Defense of the Country."
