In ten days, food in Uzhgorod has risen by over one hundred percent

According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, during 10 days – from 10 to 20 of April, prices for all food in Transcarpathia has increased by more than one hundred percent.

Thus, the price of onions rose from 3.50 to 5.30 (by 139.5%), beet – from 3.78 to 4.17 (by 110.3%), carrots – from 4.78 to 5.91 (by 123.6%), cabbage – from 4.70 to 6.77 (144%), potatoes – from 5.99 to 6.24 (by 104.2%), sunflower oil – from 33.83 to 34.50 (102%), butter – from 129.05 to 130.20 (by 100.9%), milk – from 16.90 to 17.02 (by 100.7%), pasta – from 11, 29 to 11.67 (by 103.4%), flour – from 9 to 9.05 (by 100.6%), poultry – from 43.48 to 43.66 (by 100.4%) hryvnia.

At the same time, as reported by statisticians, the prices for eggs have dropped from 11.43 to 10.95 UAH, buckwheat – from 31.80 to 31.62 UAH, sugar – from 17.16 to 17.05 UAH, beef – from 89.75 to 88.73 UAH, and rice – from 19.34 to 19.32 UAH.

Meanwhile, the prices for the following products remianed the same: cheese – 88.73 UAH, sour cream – 42.35 UAH, bacon – 40.95 UAH, pork – 82.63 UAH, cooked sausage – 63.08 UAH and rye bread – 12.29 UAH.
