Silence for the future – starting from April 1!

At the beginning of the second month of spring, a special regime for the environment is officially declared in Transcarpathia.

Transcarpathian Regional Forest and Hunting Range Administration informs that according to the Law of Ukraine of 04.09.2015, № 322-VIII "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Protection of Wildlife", during the mass breeding of wild animals, from April 1 to June 15, any works and activities, that are a source of increased noise and disturbance, shall be prohibited.

In this regard, we draw your attention to the need for strict compliance with the requirements of Part 5 of Article 39 of the Law of Ukraine "On Wildlife" by enterprises, institutions, organizations and citizens when carrying any activity that affects or could affect the fauna.

Transcarpathian Regional Forestry and Hunting Range Administration stresses on the need to observe "quiet season" in places of mass reproduction and rearing of wild animals with restriction of economic activities that will positively affect the animal world.

Enterprises, institutions, organizations and citizens, when carrying out any activities, must ensure protection of the habitat, breeding conditions and migration routes of animals.

Shooting, blasting, fireworks, sanitary felling, use of small motor boats, rallies and other competitions with vehicles shall be prohibited.
