Hennadiy Moskal gave order to study the situation about the “Uzhgorod” cinema

Hennadiy Moskal has instructed the Department of Culture of the RSA (which has the division for preservation of cultural heritage) to find out and report what is going on about the "Uzhgorod" cinema in the regional center.

For many years, the cinema building, which is located in the historical center on Voloshin street and is privately owned, has been in disrepair. And last week, repair works began there: trucks are taking out debris, remains of furniture, equipment and so on.

The cinema on Voloshin street was built in 1932 and is an architectural masterpiece of the Czechoslovak period of Transcarpathia. The cultural heritage preservation department has to report what exactly the owners plan to do with the cinema and how it can affect the appearance of the historic building.
