The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine has identified a number of effective measures able to significantly change the situation with imprisonment of our compatriot Edward Chikosh in Egypt. There is the possibility of extradition of Edward Chikosh to Ukraine.
This was reported by MP Robert Horvat on his page on Facebook: "The case of Edward Chikosh requires constant support from the leadership of our country, taking all necessary diplomatic steps to free our compatriot. The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine proposed legal mechanisms that could lead to a positive resolution of the case. I have sent a letter to the President of Ukraine."
Recall that in 2012, Edward Chikosh was arrested in Egypt on baseless charges. Since then, the public has been trying to free our countryman. In particular, at the end of last year, Robert Horvat appealed to the President of Ukraine about this case.
