A big crowd gathered in the Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library named after F.Potushnyak.
The concert in memory of Vladimir Vysotsky with a rather symbolic title "Vladimir Vysotsky: the flight continues" took place there.
The event was held on January 25, when Vysotsky would have turned 79.
Students Andriy Kolesnik and Uliana Piyasyuk recited Vysotsky poems "Man Overboard" and "Warsaw Revolt".
Volodymyr Symulyk – Senior Research Fellow of the Institute of Electron Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences – sang Vysotsky’s song "She was in Paris".
In addition, brothers Igor and Marian Kravchenko performed the song "I don’t like", in which Vysotsky set out his basic life principles. Serhiy Sobol sang a song about Vladimir Vysotsky.
At the end of the evening, Oleksandr Susik – the main organizer of the soiree – thanked the audience.
But the highlight of the event was the premiere of the film "In the footsteps of Vysotsky." The film is directed by Mr. Oleksandr, who told about the secret Vysotsky’s concert in our city (1974).
By the way, they say, his acting career started in Transcarpathia. The brother of Vladimir Vysotsky’s father served in Mukachevo, and young Volodya would often come there for the summer. In addition, he visited our region during the shooting of the film "Dima Gorin’s Career", where Vysotsky played the driver. This same role he played in "The Only Road." The shooting took place at the Radvanka quarry and in Kamyanytsia.
Thus, the participants and guests of the concert showed that Vladimir Vysotsky is known and remembered here.
