The first details of the search in Uzhgorod City Hall

We already informed that today, January 25, security forces are conducting operational actions in the building of Uzhgorod city council.

Our correspondent reports from the scene.

Indeed, currently, one of the offices, namely the reception of the first deputy mayor and the deputy mayor, is blocked. The door is locked, law enforcement officers are inside. However, they will not give any comments to journalists.   

The employees of the municipality will not comment on the events too. It is only known that the police blocked the rooms to prevent taking out any objects and documents. Currently, they are waiting for the court decision to permit the search.

Before that, the documents relating to tomorrow’s session of the City Council were seized from the office of the mayor’s adviser.

The mayor Bohdan Andriyiv and his deputy Istvan Tsap, who are currently not in the City Council, were urgently called to the city council.  

There are many journalists near the office. We are waiting for new details.
