On January 15, at 13:00, the operational-rescue service of Transcarpathia received a report that near the Mt. Stih in Rakhiv district, a resident of Kyiv born in 1986 had gotten lost while snowboarding.
Four rescuers of Yasinya mountain search and rescue department were sent to perform search and rescue work. Telephone contact with the tourist has been established. During a call, rescuers established his tentative location and went there.
At 15:30, the man was found near the Krachunyaska meadow. The man did not need medical care.
