Groysman will meet with owners of cars with foreign registration

Border crossings in Transcarpathia are unblocked. This is the result of the today’s negotiations at the Committee on Taxation and Customs Policy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine chaired by Nina Yuzhanina. There was a meeting with activists, owners of cars with foreign registration, the Karpatskiy Objektiv informs.

"After the meeting, I can say that we have finally found a consensus and our terms were accepted. On Tuesday, there will be a meeting with Volodymyr Groysman, where our issue will be formalized in a document. After that, everything must be signed and approved within two weeks" – the activist of the "protest movement" Pavlo Pavlov said.

Despite this victory, until the new resolution is formally adopted and everyone has their cars cleared and pays the customs duty, they will have to cross the border every 5 days, but now make a "big circle" across the border. Recall that this means that every owner of a car with foreign registration will have to go to Slovakia, undergo the full clearence procedure there, and then return back to Ukraine. This "innovation" was introduced after the beginning of blocking of the border crossing points.
