The motocross, which started in Uzhgorod, ended at Chongar

As we wrote, the motor race in support of the Crimean Tatars and Ukrainian unity started on July 27 from Uzhgorod. Then they rode through Mukachevo, Stryi, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Poltava, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhya and Melitopol. According to the khersondaily, the campaign was actively supported by the Crimean Mejlis. The participants of the race carried Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar flags.

Now, there are about 40 riders in the convoy. When asked what they plan do at the Chongar, biker Igor (Kassyk) said: "We’ll set the flag, talk with Crimean Tatars, they will treat us to their trademark pilaf, we know that it is already being cooked. Then some guys will go to the anniversary convention "Tachanka" in Nova Kakhovka, and the rest will go to Berdyansk, where Dnipro biker club MFC Balamut Brothers is holding the convention."

"It is a peaceful rally for the unity of Ukraine, the Tartars are our brothers and we want peace – Valery with the nickname Jim Beam says. – And this is a peaceful campaign in support of the Tatars. I, as a representative of the club, road captain, lead the convoy on."

"Representatives of the battalion named after Noman Chelebigikhan and the public organization "Asker" met the motor race at the border of Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions", – the press secretary of organization "Asker" Evelina Aryfova said. – On the way, they were joined by motorcyclists from the village of Partizany and other settlements and a large convoy arrived at the checkpoint "Chongar." There, they talked to border guards and returned to the place of blockade of the occupied peninsula. There, we had a gala dinner with national dishes, took pictures and, of course, set the Crimean Tatar flag that they had brought. I want to say that bikers are people who were supporting our blockade of the Crimea from the very beginning, many of them are volunteers, and even former ATO participants."
