On Sunday, around 16.00, on Timiryazev street in Uzhgorod, patrol policemen noticed a man quickly running in the opposite direction. At the same time, they heard a cry for help.
The officers responded instantly. They quickly caught the fleeing man. Later, the patrol policemen found out that a few minutes earlier the detained resident of Chop had torn a gold chain off of the neck of a 63-year-old female tourist and tried to flee.
Since the actions of the offender contained signs of a crime, the policemen called the investigative team at the scene. The details will be established by the investigators.
