On June 26, due to heavy local rains, in the area of the village of Luhy in Rakhiv district, a strong local flow with heavy mudslides formed and, on account of cluttering with waste wood and household waste, caused flooding of coastal zones and 33 households in settlements of Rakhiv district, namely:
– the village of Luhy: 23 households, including 15 residential houses, are flooded, 2 bridges are partially damaged;
– the village of Bogdan: 2 households, including one resdiential house, are flooded;
– the village of Vydrychka: 8 households are flooded.
13 vehicles and 35 workers of Rakhiv Forestry and Hunting Range were engaged for clearing of mountain stream beds.
The 3rd State Fire and Rescue Unit of Rakhiv sent 1 vehicle and 7 personnel members.
At 20:00, precipitation in the specified area ceased. The water level in the Bila Tisa river is gradually decreasing.
Due to bad weather, there were blackouts in 4 settlements of Rakhiv district, namely, the village of Roztoky, the village of Vydrychka, the village of Bogdan, the village of Luhy. At 22:00, in the village of Roztoky, power supply was restored.
The road Rakhiv-Bogdan-Luhy is free for travel.
Nobody was killed or injured due to bad weather.
