Transcarpathian city of Perechyn celebrates its birthday (PHOTOS)

The information on the celebration of the Day of Perechyn has been posted online. Today’s program includes:

Perechyn is a city in Transcarpathia. The railway station on the Uzhgorod-Sambir line. Located on the Uzh river. Founded in XIV century. First mentioned in 1427. Has had the status of the city since 2004 (the resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine № 1592-IV dd. 04.03.2004).

The city has 21 streets, 2 squares, 6 lanes. The population is 2222 people living on the area of 4.25 km². Those are mainly Ukrainians, but there are also Russians, Slovaks, Hungarians, Germans, Italians, Roma and other nationalities.
