Moskal fired the first civil servant because of dual citizenship

Recall that Moskal suggested all civil servants, who have dual citizenship, to resign voluntarily until 1 of May.

Hennadiy Moskal canceled the order of the Beregovo district state administration head Istvan Petrushka dd. 15.04.2016 on appointment of the head of the Education, Youth and Sports Department of the Beregovo DSA Vasyl Lengyel. And he ordered the head of the district state administration to dismiss V.Lendyel within three days as such who received the citizenship of Hungary while being in the civil service. This fact is confirmed by the presence of the passport of a citizen of Hungary series BH №1379502 issued in the name of Lengyel Laszlo born on 04.09.1972.

It has been established that during 2015, V.Lengyel made 20 crossings of the state border of Ukraine through the checkpoint "Luzhanka" and the checkpoint "Kosyno", using the passport of a citizen of Hungary and driving cars with Hungarian registration "MAK 878", "943 JNA", "HVW 745". As previously reported, in accordance with paragraph 2 of Part 1 of Art. 84 of the Law of Ukraine "On civil service", acquisition of the citizenship of another state is the grounds for the termination of civil service.

Part 2 of Art. 84 of the law states that the appointor is required to dismiss such civil servant within three months from the date of occurrence of or finding out about the entry into the citizenship of another state.
