Five illegal immigrants, who were trying to illegally get to Slovakia, today were detected and detained by border guards of the Chop detachment.
During the monitoring of the area of responsibility of the Border Guard Service division "Uzhgorod", the patrol found a car that had stopped near the border. Later they noticed five people leaving it and moving towards the border with Slovakia and the vehicle drove in the opposite direction. To prevent the illegal crossing of the state border, the patrol was sent to detain the violators. The violators – two Somali citizens and three from Vietnam – were detained a few meters from the state border.
Currently, the search for those involved in unlawful activities continues, the press service of the Chop border guard detachment reported.
