Anatoliy Herey from Uzhgorod and bronze medal of the “White Bear”

Anatoliy Herey won bronze medal at the LVI traditional tournament "White Bear", held on January 10 in Berlin.

Recall that before 2012 this competitions had not been included in the official calendar of neither the International Fencing Federation, nor European Fencing Confederation, but would consistently bring together more than two hundred participants. Four years ago, the "White Bear" was first promoted to the status of the Europe Cup round for athletes aged 23 years and younger. An interesting feature of this kind of tournament is that there are no age limits for participants, and results of the tournament for all athletes not older than 23 are included in the rating, according to which the draw for the European Championship for athletes in the age group "23 years and younger" will take place.

For Anatoliy, this award is not the first one won at the tournament "White Bear". In 2013, Herey won another bronze medal there.
