New Year’s Eve tourists, who visited the Pip Ivan, were though numerous, but well-behaved

Chorna Hora mountain search and rescue post reports that tourists, who decided to celebrate New Year’s Eve in the mountains, were remarkably well-behaved.

They report that the celebration of the New Year on the Mt. Pip Ivan Chornohirsky took place without emergencies.

11 tourist groups as well as one solo traveler Mr. Yuriy from the village of Krasnyk climbed to the top.

In view of this number of tourists and low temperature, the Chorna Hora mountain search and rescue post deployed a heating unit where tourists could find shelter from adverse weather conditions. We thank all travelers for a civilized behavior on the mountain. For the first time in many years, the Chorna Hora remained clean after the New Year celebrations. Thanks to everyone, who was there in those moments.   We hope that in 2016 the Pip Ivan will be clean in all respects, and we will make all efforts to ensure this.
