How often do Transcarpathians call 102?

Transcarpathian police reported today.

As informed by the head of the service in the regional center, during a month, residents of the region called the police nearly six thousand times.

The Head of the Patrol Police Office in the cities of Uzhgorod and Mukachevo Yuriy Martsenyshyn said: during this period, the call-center received 5921 calls on "102".

He believes that people have become more trusting to the police, noting that there is a significant difference in the numbers of calls in the first and the last week – now, there are more of them.

Martsenyshyn also said that he was satisfied with his subordinates efficiency: the arrival time has been reduced from 8 to 6 minutes.
