Today, “Uzhgorod – Vysne Nemecke” will be closed for four hours

Today, October 26, there will be the grand opening of the renovated checkpoint "Vysne Nemecke". In this regard, customs control of passenger vehicles in both directions will be suspended from 12.00 to 16.00.

It should be noted that, at the checkpoint "Uzhgorod – Vysne Nemecke", the Slovak side was conducting engineering works to expand the lanes for buses, vans and passenger cars. The work was being carried out under the project "Modernization and reconstruction of checkpoints on the Slovak-Ukrainian border."

We ask citizens to understand the temporary inconvenience and to consider the time of the suspension of customs control of motor vehicles at the checkpoint "Uzhgorod – Vysne Nemecke" when planning their trips across the Ukraine-Slovak border.

Please note that you can use checkpoints "Maly Berezny", "Mali Selmentsi" or "Tisa" (to go to Slovakia via Hungary) and the railway checkpoint "Chop".
