An annual job fair took place in Uzhgorod

The annual autumn Job Fair took place in Uzhgorod Employment Center. More than 20 large and small enterprises of Uzhgorod and Uzhgorod district presented their employment opportunities.

The purpose of the "Job Fair" is to provide information to unemployed people seeking work on the labor market, opportunities of internship and training in economic stabilization and development of market relations – the organizers say. For employers, it is a great opportunity to communicate with job-seekers and find needed specialists, for unemployed, it is a opportunity to find job, for students – to explore employment prospects.

Yuriy Fuschych, the director of the Transcarpathian Regional Employment Center said that this year about 15,000 Transcarpathians have been employed. For those who are looking for work, 200 offers with wages from 1800 to 4000 UAH have been prepared. "This year, the Employment Center has held 25 such events. This is the usual systematic work for conducting "Job Fair".

According to Yuriy Fuschych, the salary in most offers submitted to the "Job Fair" is about 2600 UAH. "There are offers with salaries ranging from 1800 and 3300 UAH. But only eight jobs with a salary of more than 4 thousand hryvnia. But finding a job is a good thing anyway. Because now the most important thing for a person is to find any job. And then you can gradually move on" – the official added.
