Uzhgorod city police received a report from one of the candidates to the city council that on Pushkin Sq. unknown persons were bribing voters.
The management and the investigative team of the city police department arrived at the scene. Law enforcement officers noticed two women aged 28 years, whom the applicant had reported about.
The police officers seized from them three sheets of paper with personal data of citizens and their mobile phone numbers.
According to the women, they had found those lists in the street, and had no intention of bribing voters.
This report was registered in the Register of statements and reports of committed criminal offenses and other events of Uzhgorod city police department. This incident is being investigated, the site of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Office in Transcarpathia informs.
