Uzhgorod, Poshtova Square, Friday, 12.00 – come and say “goodbye!” to the city council

Uzhgorod Mayor Victor Pogorelov fulfilled his campaign promise. At least one of them.

Today, activists and journalists, who once again came to prevent carve-up at the adjourned session of the city council, forced the mayor to officially report when will the meeting take place. Recall that the plenary meeting was adjourned indefinitely because the public was actively controlling the deputies and did not allow them to pass questionable decisions.

And now the site of the city council informs:

"The adjourned 4th plenary meeting of the XXVII session of the city council will be held October 23, 2015 at 12:00 in the session hall of the executive committee. The relevant order was given by the Mayor Victor Pogorelov."

As you know, the agenda includes scandalous approval of the city zoning plan and land issues."

So, the people should come tomorrow, Friday, October 23, to the Poshtova Square to control the mayor and the deputies and not to let them do a "farewell carve-up." And also to say "goodbye" to this city council. Which will remain in history probably as the least helpful and the most scandalous.
