Musical October at the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic continues. This time, they will play Vivaldi.

Last Sunday, in the presence of true fans, friends and veterans of the Academic Transcarpathian Folk Choir, numerous guests from Ukraine and neighboring countries, a big gala event took place to mark the 70th anniversary of the choir.

The concert program was interrupted with congratulation speeches, presentations of awards and gift from the Kyiv collective – Honored Folk Song and Dance Ensemble of Ukraine "Darnychanka."

 And next Sunday, October 25, Uzhgorod residents and visitors will be able to enjoy the music of Antonio Vivaldi as part of the project "Weekend Music". The program of pieces by the famous Italian composer will be presented by the soloist of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic Society, laureate of international competitions Olesya Haiduk (organ) and the Chamber Orchestra of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic Society (Director – Honored Artist of Ukraine Vladyslav Yurosh).

Honored Artist of Ukraine Oksana Charchalis (mezzo soprano) will perform several arias from different works of A.Vivaldi. The concert starts at 17.00. The event will be hosted by the music historian Natalia PITSUR.
